Our IOSH accredited behavioural safety course will give your leaders and managers at all levels an understanding of why people do what they do.  We can then start to apply some proven principles of Behavioural Science to help them understand how to change any critical behaviours in the teams.

The course can be adapted to suit your requirements, and is designed to ensure delegates understand safety culture and how it can be improved and sustained - alongside your business strategy.

We will introduce key tools and techniques to influence behaviour in the workplace, including the principles of leadership, CBT, NLP and ABC analysis, Swiss cheese theory and proven behavioural psychology techniques. The learning outcomes include:

• A clear understanding of how behaviours and human error can contribute to injuries in the workplace.

• An understanding of how habits are formed and can be changed just as easily as they are formed.

• An understanding of the principles of behavioural psychology and how to positively impact the safety culture.

Although the IOSH accredited course follows a set format, the content can be made bespoke to you, and the approach is designed to be highly interactive, encouraging delegates to share their real life experiences.

All delegates receive a workbook along with all the slides and materials, to enable you to carry out your own presentations or toolbox talks as part of the ongoing learning process.
